منحة دراسية للطلبة المميزين و أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة بورسعيد للدراسة بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية

يزور وفد من المكتب الثقافي الأمريكي جامعة بورسعيد يوم الأربعاء الموافق 2 نوفمبر  2011 وذلك لتقديم منح للأساتذة والهيئة المعاونة والطلاب للسفر للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. على أن تقوم كل كلية باستقدام عدد 10 طلاب من المتميزين بالإضافة للسادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة.

(1)  2012 Study of the United States Institutes for Student Leaders on Religious Pluralism, Social Entrepreneurship and Women’s Leadership

These programs are intensive academic programs whose purpose is to provide groups of Egyptian undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States, while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. The Institutes will take place in late June and July 2012.

(2) The Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) - Leaders for Democracy Fellowship Program

This annual program will provide young civic and democratic reform leaders from the Middle East and North Africa with the opportunity to complete both academic coursework and a practical, skill-building experience as well as networking with likeminded reformers and activists inside and outside the region.

3) 2012 Study of the United States Institutes for Scholars

This program is for multinational groups of university faculty and other related scholars.  This is a rigorous six-week post-graduate academic program held at university campuses throughout the United States.  Study of the United States Institutes are intensive post-graduate level academic programs with integrated study tours whose purpose is to provide foreign university faculty and other scholars the opportunity to deepen their understanding of American society, culture, and institutions.  The ultimate goal is to strengthen curricula and to improve the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions abroad.  The institutes will take place at various colleges and universities throughout the United States over the course of six weeks beginning in June 2012

4) 2012 Study of the United States Institutes for Secondary School Educators

This program is for Secondary School Educators (English teachers, teacher trainers, curriculum developers, textbook writers, Ministry of Education officials, etc.).  This is a rigorous six-week summer program which is held at university campuses throughout the United States.  It is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and will take place mid June 2012.
